Waiting

I wish I could tell you that I was safely in Omaha and done with my first 2 days of chemo, but I'm still in KC- waiting, and learning to be patient with the medical process. As a good friend told me, "God's timing is perfect" so this is all just part of the plan (but I'm still frustrated). Anyway, the current plan is to head to Omaha on Thursday, but I haven't heard from my nurse coordinator yet and it's currently 2:00 on Wednesday so who knows, plans may still be changing. Stay posted... ;)

  3. I love the title of this blog! Leave it to you to list your family first on your list of prayers requests. Just another example of what a selfless person you are. Jay and I continue to pray for you. God is definitely reaching people through your life already!

I have challenged our fellow Class of '93 NKCHS classmates to each send $93 to you to help pay for these medical expenses. My check is in the mail as of this morning. 7. "I waited patiently for the Lord to help me,
and he turned to me and heard my cry.
He lifted me out of the pit of despair,
out of the mud and the mire.
He set my feet on solid ground
and steadied me as I walked along."

    Psalm 40:1-2

  10. Last night Renea decided that she wanted to "go see Janna at the doctor's office." I reminded her that we are praying for Janna to get better so that we CAN go and see her at the doctor's office. She replied somewhat passionatley, "I want to pray RIGHT NOW. I love her." And so we did pray...and we do!
